Abstract:

CWT is assembling a Bluetooth development laboratory with the assistance of the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech and the Virginia Center for Innovative Technology (CIT). The objective of this project is to develop resources for the lab to enable full monitoring and testing of Bluetooth devices and software, to develop Bluetooth software and hardware applications, and to provide training and information for companies that could benefit from employing the short range wireless communications capabilities of Bluetooth. The enhanced Bluetooth lab and CWT expertise will be a resource to Virginia companies who desire to apply Bluetooth technology.
