    • CEBus Power Line Transceiver IC (CELinx PL)


      Surface mountable 28-lead PLCC. Performs spread spectrum signal generation/ reception and implements the CEBus power line physical layer. Achieves a data rate of 10 kbps. Pin selectable transmission frequency range and data rate. Two selections include:

      • 1) 100 kHz - 400 kHz, 10 kbps


      • 2) 20 kHz - 80 kHz, 2 kbps



    • CEBus RF Transceiver IC (CELinx RF)


      Surface Mount 28-Lead SOIC Package. Operates in 902-928 MHz band, and implements the CEBus RF Physical Layer. Other specs are similar to CELinx PL.

    • CEBus Data Link Layer Controller IC (CE THinx)


      Surface mountable 28-lead SOIC Package. Implements the data link layer. Provides CEBus communications interface for microprocessor based applications. Acts as a peripheral processor between the host application processor and a CEBus power line or RF transceiver. 8-bit parallel interface to host processor. Offers a monitor mode which shows all CEBus packets, status indicators, and counts packet fragments, collisions, etc.

    • CEBus PL Network Interface Controller (SSC P400)


      28-Pin PLCC package. Provides the data link layer controller and spread spectrum carrier transceiver. Can be configured for one of three modes of operation:

      • Data Link Mode (DLL) -- Supports data link layer functionality.


      • Controller Mode (CON) -- Provides additional support to maintain simultaneous communications with multiple devices using addressed DLL services.


      • Monitor Mode (MON) -- Captures and time stamps all channel traffic.

    • CEBus PL Network Interface (CENode PL)


      20-pin SIP. Provides all functions of CEBus data link layer and power line physical layer plus circuits to interface with the power lines. Includes network monitor mode. Consists of CEThinx CEBus node controller, CEline PL Transceiver, and PL transceiver circuitry.

    • CENode RF Baseband Network Interface (CENode RF BB)


      36-pin SIP. Implements CEBus data link layer and RF physical layer. Generates and detects RF baseband packets (4.2 to 6.3 MHz). Includes CELinx RF transceiver IC and CEThinx Network Controller. Can operate in a sleep mode which requires 100 msec to wake up. Using the CENode RF BB in conjunction with a CEMac RF Tx transmitter and a CEMac RF Rx Receiver, a user can build an FCC compliant (915 MHz) CEBus RF transceiver.

    • CEBus RF Transmitter (CEMac RF Tx)


      19-Pin SIP. 915 Mhz, spread spectrum. Uses Linear Phase BPSK modulation. Offers sleep mode with 50 usec wakeup. Designed to be used in conjunction with CENode RF BB.

    • CEBus RF Receiver (CEMac RF Rx)


      12-Pin SIP. 915 MHz. Offers sleep mode with 50 msec wake up. Designed to be used in conjunction with CEnode RF BB.

    • RF Carrier Board Assembly (SSC CB01RF) -- Coming soon!


      Designed to prototype a CEBus RF transceiver easily using CENode RF BB, CEMac RF Transmitter, and CEMac RF Receiver.

    • CEBus PL Communication Module (CEComm PL)


      Surface mountable 28-lead PLCC package. Complete ISA bus interface to EIA CEBus for 120/240 V AC lines. Handles physical layer and data link layer. Data rate of 10 kbps. Pin selectable transmission frequency and data rate. Includes Windows Dynamic Link Library driver, DOS Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) driver, and application programmer's interface (API) as a C language library.

    • CEBus Communication Monitor (CEMonitor)


      Surface mountable 28-pin PLCC. Available for power line or RF. Handles both data link layer and physical layer functions, and provides an RS-232 interface. Data rate of 10 kbps. Pin selectable transmission frequency range and data rate. Includes Windows DLL driver, DOS TSR driver, and API as a C language library.

    • CEBus Single Board Computer (CEBoard)


      Application development platform that includes 8-bit microcontroller, flexible analog and digital I/O, and a complete CEBus compliant interface to the power line. Host processor is the MC68HC11-F1. Includes serial Interface, RS-232 or RS-485, 128 k Flash Memory, 32 k EPROM, 32 k RAM, and 512 bytes EEPROM.

    • CEBus Design Station (CEBench)


      A hardware and software development platform that implements the complete CEBus protocol (Application, Network, Data Link, and Physical Layers). Supports the 68HC11 and 8051 microcontroller families. Includes a Common Application Language (CAL) interpreter, a Windows user interface, a CEBus protocol network monitor, and a C compiler and assembler.

    • RF Design Kit


      RF carrier board assembly consists of network controller, baseband transmitter and receiver, all on a single board. Also includes RF communications interface monitor device, and an RF design handbook. Sells for $495.
