Mission Statement

The mission of the Center for Wireless Telecommunications encompasses:

Education & Training

• Providing interdisciplinary education to university students in the technical, business, and regulatory issues of the wireless and space industries.
• Training professionals at all levels of the wireless and space industries.

Research

Conducting integrative, state-of-the-art research programs to create multi-disciplinary innovations in wireless networking, embedded and broadband wireless, and related systems and components.

Development

Promoting the adoption and wider diffusion of wireless and space technologies and businesses in the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world through research, company assistance, economic development, technology transfer, commercialization, and other outreach activities.
